From The Desk of Steve Bernard
Here are a couple of key areas for your review:
The new product launch from Avaya originally scheduled for June 8th has been delayed until July 20th. The new date will bring with it new releases of Avaya Contact Center, Avaya Aura™, Avaya ACE™, and Collaboration Solutions, as well as updates to the Data Networking and Professional Services offers. In order to help partners prepare for the launch, Avaya has prepared an unprecedented amount of knowledge transfer information and launch readiness materials.
Knowledge Transfer Kits (KTD's) and U-Connect modules have been adopted by Avaya as a best practice to deliver lots of information in a condensed and easy-to-learn format. To access Avaya materials to train and prepare for the upcoming Avaya product launch, please click here to access them from the Avaya portal.
Steve Bernard, Vice President Westcon Convergence
As of July 1st, 2010, Avaya customers in the US will no longer have access to Time and Materials support unless they have a support contract, and heritage NES partners must have a PASS contract in place for each Enterprise customer in the US and Americas International (Canada and CALA). For more information, contact your Westcon Convergence Account Manager.
I hope you were able to attend one of Avaya's scheduled "Ask the Expert" sessions to help partners clarify how to address customer questions. The final session will be held on June 23. For more information, visit Avaya Channel Insider - Ask The Experts.
As we continue to strengthen our global commitment the new Avaya, our success is driven by your success, so please let us know how we are doing – and what else we can do to help you in the transition to the new Avaya.
